Meet Linda
Linda Rhyne has over 16 years in education, a Master’s in Reading, K-12 Reading Specialist licensure, LETRS and IMSE training, National Board Certification, numerous teaching awards and a passion for creating a world of successful readers. Linda is the founding president of The Reading League North Carolina. Linda has witnessed how difficult it is to bring out change within systems. Over the years, Linda has led change efforts in a way that pairs grace and accountability. She has learned that it is often the people in a system's story that will be the main characters in that change but that they often are missed when developing solutions.
Your system has a story.
It deserves to be part of the solution.
OUR GOAL: Improve literacy and coaching outcomes for children by creating change at a systems-level.
Linda resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband, two boys, two cats and dog. In her spare time, you can find her exercising, reading and living life out loud. After supporting her son with a year of remote kindergarten, she saw first-hand the impact strong literacy instruction can have on helping a child develop into a reader. Her son went from shying away from reading BOB books to asking to read to his little brother’s class. There is power in becoming a reader and everyone deserves to feel empowered with literacy.
